Stay home if you are sick
The CDC is reporting that if you are tired, have a cough, sore throat and runny nose, there is a 97% chance you have H1N1. You may or may not have a fever. In addition, as opposed to the yearly flu, H1N1 is affecting college age people the most. Please stay home and get better. http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/sick.htm

NSWE Is Out On The Trail
The Adventure Trip Program of Texas State University Campus Recreation set out yesterday to embark on the New Student Wilderness Expedition trip that is to hit several recreation hot spots throughout the Texas Hill Country. The group of students and leaders will spend the next few days kayacking the San Marcos River, rockclimbing at Reimer's Ranch, canoeing Lake LBJ, Camping at University and Pecan Parks, and tubing the Comal River.
Andrew Lyburn - Grad Student-Recreation Administration, has come all the way from Baltimore, MD. as the new Graduate Assistant for Outdoor Recreation. When asked what he most anticipated for the trip he stated that he "is most looking forward to the change in the students throughout the week, when they come out of their shells and become a functioning group. All the participants join NSWE as twelve strangers and leave with twelve new friends."
We wish the group happy and safe travels as they adventure through Texas' big back yard.
If you would like to find out more about the Adventure Trip Program and the several trips that are held throughout the semester please contact the Outdoor Center at 512.245.2004 or check out our website at http://www.campusrecreation.txstate.edu/programs/outdoor/atp.html
